After dinner last night, our family went for a walk. Okay, D’Artagnon and I walked, the girls rode their bikes. My 2 yr old just recently got her bike and doesn’t quite know what to do with the pedals….she does, but can’t seem to get it all working at the same time. So, my hubby tied a bungee cord around her handle bars and pulled her around, she was so proud!! My 5 and 4 yr old were loving the time to just get out of the driveway and ride for “real”. We finished our walk/ride and as we were coming into the house, my 4 yr old picked up a glass of tea, and said “Whew, I had a hard day”. She preceded to take a long drink while I asked her why she had had such a hard day. After setting the glass down, wiping her mouth, she said “Mom, that last hill was super big and hard. I am wore out”. The “hill” isn’t even a hill, more like a slope…very mild incline, she didn’t even have to stand up and pedal. My little drama queen!! And to think I have 3 of them!! I can’t imagine what they will be like as teenagers…Oh the Joys!!
