As the only man living in a house full of ladies, I am subjected to “girl randomness (GR).” I would describe “GR” as a free flow thinking state of thought and action that only other girls can connect with. This starts with my wife. She will start a sentence somewhere in the middle of a thought, that comes out of right field. And the scary part is knowing that my daughters will understand what’s going on. I’m clueless. But they get it. This also means that they are learning first hand how to completely confuse boys with this special gift/curse only known as “GR.”
Even though I can’t understand them sometimes, they are good to clue me in…sometimes. Other times I think it’s better to just be left out in la-la land for a while. Either way, I’ll never obtain this GR, and don’t really want to. After all it was given to girls as a secret way to communicate with each other, and I’m OK with that. Really, I am.
Great idea having D’art guest blog. Maybe I can try that with Jason to segway him into his own blog!
totally agree. however, totally agree that girls are random and we expect guys to GET IT. get the hints, you know. know what exactly we want for our anniversary, birthday, any day really… without even telling them. or they should know when we need help with something…
