I try to make lunchtime creative. I use food and turn it into “play” time. Some times I create an edible art piece, and other times I put a bunch of stuff on a plate and let my kids create their own. Today’s masterpiece was designed by me! It is fun to play with my food, which my mother never allowed me to do. I also find that my girls usually eat a whole lot more when they can play with their food!! Food for thought!!
Today’s Creation:

I started with a cut out peanut butter and jelly sandwich (use a can if you don’t have anything) for the base, stuck in the pretzel sticks, cut bananas, topped with raisins, added cheese puffs and miniature marshmallows on the outside. VERY EASY and best of all, the girls LOVED it!! Everyday, I make something new and my hubby is the one who wanted me to do this post and made me take a picture of it. I guess from now on I will take pics of the good ones and post them for you!!
BON APPETITE!!

I LOVE IT! That’s adorable. What time’s lunch so I can make sure to be there??

I can’t wait until you post more ideas. this is GREAT.
