It has been FOREVER since I have read a fiction book. I usually stick to the motivational, leadership, parenting, and now church planting books. I am a most avid reader and LOVE fiction, but haven’t really read any since I have had kids, because I know how I am when I read a good fiction book. Everything stops. I am engrossed in the book and nothing else matters. I will stay up all night and all day to finish it. Put all of that together and that equals not a very good, attentive mom. Needless to say, I have been twitching for over a month now to get my hands on Twilight. I knew what would happen if I started reading it…the other 3 books that follow would have to be devoured as well. My hubby couldn’t understand the hype, but brought me the book home on Friday as a surprise!!! He even started the book that night, just to see what the hype was (of course). I was still hesitant about it, but he brought it home, which gave me permission, but I still didn’t pick it up until Saturday night. I finished it Sunday afternoon. Mm-hmmm all 527 pages in about 7 interrupted hrs. Okay, now I am on the hunt for the next one!!
The movie comes out Nov 21…I can’t wait!!!!

Thanks Jen for the recommendation!!

I heard this book was good. After seeing the movie trailer I decided I wanted to read it as well….but I haven’t bought it yet. I am currently reading about three other series (only one book at a time) so I am kinda busy with reading……although right now I am paying Fable 2 on xbox so reading is out for the moment
If you have other books you want to trade try Swaptree.com to get the rest of the books in the series – that is how I got two of mine! You only pay for shipping the book you trade so it costs like 2 bucks a book! Better than 9-16 bucks at the store!
Hahahahaa….. Like I said, they weren’t my typical books either, but once you start you can’t put them down… all 2,500 plus pages… It will basically take up a week of your life…. hahhaha I can’t wait for the movie, although I will wait for the frenzy to die down a bit, I am not into crowds….
I am glad you liked it!
