I LOVE Colonial Candles. They smell SO good. They burn really hot and when they get closer to the bottom of the jar, they start smoking a little, or a lot in this case. We had a major water disaster that covered our bathroom, hallway, front room and kitchen floors the other day. I cleaned that up, but now there is a wonderful musty smell I can’t get rid of, which is why I was burning the candle in the front room. My friend, Dawn, noticed the candle smoking and I told her that it always smoked. I happened to take a closer look and one of the artificial leaves (my thumbs are black, not green) of my poinsettia plant was getting singed and had already turned black with little red fire spots. Needless to say, if Dawn hadn’t noticed it, we could have had a fire on our hands.
Thank you Dawn!!
{ Note to self: use febreze or glade plugins next time. kthnx. }
