The time has come to take down all the Christmas decor. I just LOVE Christmas and I am sad to have to take it all down.
Plus I have NO ENERGY to do it.

Talk about organization. I think I need to invest in some good Christmas storage bins or something!! Might make packing and unpacking a little bit more enjoyable!!

Maybe I should share part 2… YES, the Christmas decor was GONE by 9:30pm Christmas night, but the tree bag is STILL in the same spot on my back porch {my hubby hurt his back and has been down for about 5 days}… and though Christmas is cleaned up and the laundry is done, that is about all that has been tackled! I NEED to clean, mop, and find some way to get ALL of the toys out of the family room, living room, kitchen table and into bedrooms and playroom!
LOL. Now I don’t feel as bad!!
The storage bins do help. Last year I took the time to organize and label all of the bins so I knew exactly where everything should go. It helped a lot this year when I decorated and when I took everything down I knew exactly where to put it. It is still a pain though. I envy Jen for being able to take hers down so early. I always have to wait for the family to be ready, but I am ready as soon as Christmas is over.
What’s so funny, the images you put up are sad reminders that I have yet to pack.
And we plan on moving from Washington to Texas in like…4 days.
Holy cow I’m doomed.
well I managed to take all the ornaments off the tree and lights and then put the tree outside. but everthing else Christmas is still up….could be cause I got the flu on new years eve and have wasted my time on the couch or in bed with a nansty fever…..but my house is a wreck and needs to be cleaned and organized
yes I have though for the past couple of years that getting storage bins for all my Christmas would be helpful to identify where it all is and also to help things last longer….but you know right after Christmas when I am thinking this would be a good idea I have no money to buy them

Storage bins are a great investment! Everything in our attic is in them. What a breeze it will be when we move. AND it keeps the rats out!
